Vacancies under the post of “Probationary Officers (PO)/ Management Trainees (MT)

IBPS PO Application Form 2018 Important dates:
Candidates should fill their IBPS PO Online Application Form and pay the IBPS PO Application fees of Rs. 600 /- (for General, OBC category) and Rs. 100/- (for SC/ST/PWD category) from August 14, 2018 to September 4, 2018.

What are the Eligibility Criteria for filling IBPS PO Application Form 2018?
Nationality / Citizenship:
A candidate must be either -
(i) a Citizen of India or
(ii) a subject of Nepal or
(iii) a subject of Bhutan or
(iv) a Tibetan Refugee who came over to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanently settling in India or
(v) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Burma, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam with the intention of permanently settling in India
Minimum: 20 years; Maximum: 30 years. i.e. An applicant must have been born not earlier than 2.08.1987 and not later than 01.08.1997 (both dates inclusive). The Upper age limit (i.e., 30 years) is relaxable as per following table:

A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognised by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
How to fill IBPS PO Application Form 2018?
The registration for IBPS PO is done in the following stages:
- Basic Info Registration
- Photograph & Signature Scan and Upload
- Filling of Basic details (such as Nationality, Religion, Address) as well as Qualification Details
- Payment of Fees
Stage 1 - Basic Info Registration:
During First stage of Application Registration for IBPS PO, Candidate have to provide their personal particulars.
- Click on the direct link for IBPS PO Application Form, which is provided above.
- To register application, choose the tab "Click here for New Registration"
- Enter your Name, Contact details and Email-id.
- A Provisional Registration Number and Password will be generated by the system and displayed on the screen. Candidate must note down this Provisional Registration Number and Password for future use. This unique Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent to your registered E-mail & SMS.
Stage 2 - Photograph & Signature Scan and Upload:
Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their Photograph & Signature as per the following guidelines:
- Photo -
- Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture (with 4.5cm × 3.5cm)
- It should be in .jpg format
- Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels
- Size of file should be between 20kb - 50kb.
- Signature -
- The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black Ink pen.
- It should be in .jpg format
- Dimensions 140 x 60 pixels
- Size of file should be between 10kb - 20kb
During Application Form Filling, Candidates will be provided with two separate links for uploading Photograph and Signature.
Stage 3:- Filling of Basic and Qualification Details:
After uploading Photo and sign, candidates need to provide the following details:
- Select the State/ UT which you want to apply for
- Choose the Exam Center as per your convenience
- Candidate’s Category
- Disability Details (if any)
- Aadhar Card Number (not necessary)
- Date of Birth
- Marital Status
- Father’s, Mother’s, Spouse’s Name
- Address with pincode
- Educational Qualification (with Subject, Date of Passing, % of marks, Class)
- Work Experience Details (if any)
- Languages Known
Candidates can preview their submitted Online application form before paying the fees. If any correction needed means, they can correct it at any point of time (within 5th September 2017) before paying the fees. Candidates are not allowed to edit the application form after paying the fees.
Stage 4 - Payment of IBPS PO Application Fees:
The fees can be paid only through online mode
using Debit Cards (RuPay/ Visa/ MasterCard/ Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking, IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets.

IBPS PO Vacancy Details and Salary:
This year around 4,102 vacancies are to be filled for the post of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees in IBPS PO CWE-VIII (2018 - 2019). Last Year, around 3,560+ vacancies for the posts of Probationary Officers/ Management Trainees are filled in IBPS PO CWE-VII. Probationary Officer can get the Salary of around Rs. 35,000 to Rs. 40,000 which may vary from bank to bank. The Category wise details for IBPS PO vacancies are granted in the below table.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) selects suitable personnel for the post of “Probationary Officer (PO)” through the following three stages of selection process:
- Preliminary Exam (total of 100 marks)
- Mains Exam (total of 225 marks)

Pre Exam Training and Call Letters:
An e-admit card/ hall ticket/ call letter can be downloaded from the IBPS official link, which will be updated in Fresherslive page. First, the Pre Exam Training call letter for IBPS PO Prelims examination will be released for those candidates who register with IBPS PO CWE- VII. And then IBPS PO admit card
for Prelims and then Call letter for Mains Exam will be released for those candidates only who qualify for IBPS PO Mains. The Exam Centre, Venue address, Date and Time for both IBPS PO Preliminary and main examinations and interview shall be intimated in the respective Call Letter.
IBPS PO results
are released by IBPS after completion of each stage of Exam ie., IBPS PO Prelims, IBPS PO Mains, IBPS PO Interview. Prelims marks are not considered for final merit listing. Final merit listing of IBPS PO vacancies is based on IBPS PO Mains examination marks + Interview Marks.
