IBPS Clerk, 2018 Exam Overview:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection named as IBPS conducts Common Written Exam (CWE) every year for the clerical cadre in multiple banks all over the country. All public sector banks use IBPS CLERK CWE Marks as a base to fill the vacancies for Clerk (Assistant) post. IBPS is conducting the Clerk exam for the eighth year now and hence named IBPS Clerk CWE VIII. The IBPS Clerk CWE exam will happen in two levels- preliminary exam and mains, both stage in Online mode only. IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains Examination are conducted in two languages, i.e., English and Hindi (except the English Section questions). IBPS Clerk Prelims and Mains Exam will happen within the state, where the candidate resides. Candidates qualifying in both these exams will be selected for the post. From 2015, there is no Interview for Candidates who are in final Merit List.

IBPS Clerk 2018 Vacancy Details, Salary structure, and Eligibility Criteria:
Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) announced a notice of IBPS Clerk 2018-2019 for filling up to 7,275 Posts. Every year, Huge vacancies will be filled by the IBPS board to recruit more number of clerks in public sector banks, across various states of the country. The candidates applying for IBPS Clerk recruitment is increasing each and every year. IBPS also announces the state-wise breakup of vacancies list along with the vacancies of Physically Challenged Candidates. An IBPS Clerk's job profile is entitled to get some allowances in addition to the basic salary, which is the same in almost all the Public Sector Banks. The Basic salary of a job of Clerk is Rs 11,765 to Rs 42,020. Candidates those applying for IBPS Clerk 2018 recruitment exam should fulfill the following essential eligibility criteria:
- Age - Minimum: 20 years and Maximum: 30 years
- Educational Qualifications - A Degree (Graduation) in any discipline from a University recognized by the Govt. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
IBPS Clerk Online Application Fees 2018:
The candidate has to apply for IBPS CWE clerk-VII through online mode only after the declaration of IBPS clerk Official notification. Application Fees/ Intimation Charges Payable for IBPS clerk recruitment are:
- Rs. 100/- for SC/ST/PWD candidates.
- Rs. 600 /- for all others
IBPS Clerk 2018 Recruitment Process:
The recruitment process of IBPS Clerk CWE occurs in two phases:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
Students are required to qualify both these exams to get selected for the post of clerical cadre in most of the premier Public Sector Banks. The main thing to note here is that there is no interview process required for the selection of the candidate after the mains exam.

IBPS Clerk Mains Exam Structure
IBPS Clerk Mains exam is conducted in online mode only. IBPS Clerk Mains exam comprises 200 multiple choice questions under 5 main subject category sections, namely Reasoning, English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness (with special reference to Banking), and Computer Knowledge. Here, all questions for all four sections except the English Language will be present in both English as well as the Hindi Language.

Institute of Banking Personnel Selection - IBPS Clerk Admit card of Prelims exam and mains exam.
