Steps to fill the CLAT 2019 Application form 

Candidates should follow the mentioned steps to download their CLAT 2019 Application form. Aspirants should fill the application and submit it for the further recruitment process. The application form should be submitted through online mode only.

Step 1: Candidates have to log in the official website CLAT 2018
Step 2: If you’re a new user, at first, you have to register.
Step 3: Candidates will receive their login id and password. Login using those details.
Step 4: Candidates should verify their details such as address father’s name, mother’s name, date of birth, email ID, nationality and mobile number.
Step 5: Candidates need to upload their recent passport size photograph, signature and date of birth certificate with their CLAT application form with the prescribed size.

Step 6: Candidates have to select the exam city preference. The test CityPlace is fully depended on the availability of seats but candidates can opt for three places from the list of places which are allotted to them.
Step 7: After filling the entire application form, candidates have to pay the application fees. For unreserved/SAP/OBC/ any other category students is 4,000 and whereas SC/ST category students have to pay Rs 3,500.

What is the Eligibility Criteria of CLAT 2019?

  • Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC and persons with Disability).
  • There is no age restriction for appearing in CLAT Exam 2019.
  • Candidates should submit any of their proof of identity for the qualifying examination before or at the time of admission with detailed mark sheet.
  • Candidates having any supplementary in any subject in the qualifying examination will not be eligible for admission of law courses.

CLAT Syllabus 2019

Candidates should check the syllabus before they prepare for the examination as it helps to get a clear idea of CLAT Examination 2019.

English Section

This section is to test the candidate's proficiency in the English language. Questions from this section will be based on comprehension passages and grammar. Additionally, candidates vocabulary and the usage of words will be determined.


Questions will be based on basic arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division etc. Maths taught up to Class X will be tested.

Legal Aptitude

This section will test the candidate’s interest towards the study of law, research aptitude, and problem-solving ability. Generally, questions may include legal propositions etc and the candidates have to prepare well in this section.

Logical Reasoning

Candidates should have the basic knowledge of syllogisms, analogies, logical sequences in a basic manner. 

CLAT Admit card 2019

CLAT Exam Admit card will be available on the official website of the national level law entrance exam. Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) is conducted on a rotational basis by National Law Universities (NLUs). 

There are few steps to download CLAT 2019 admit card

Step 1: Log on to the official website of CLAT 2018
Step 2: Click on “CLAT Admit Card” tab/link which is present on the home screen
Step 3: Please enter the candidate’s registration number and date of birth.
Step 4: Then click on the submit button.
Step 5: A PDF will be displayed on the screen.
