Army Public School (APS), Jhansi since its inception has been a trail blazer in the field of education. It has been expanding in its scope and range of activities. In its glorious history the school has gone through several changes in terms of location structure, volume and status. Army Public School, Jhansi originated as a station Nursery school in the year 1981 which was extended up to a Primary School (Class I to III) in July 1986 and thereafter, it was recognized by AWES in May 1989. Today, the school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, Delhi and is upgraded to Class XII having Science and Commerce streams with the strength of approximately 1831 students majority being the wards of Army Personnel.
