The 11th RQC is to be held at Rudrapur

19 December 2019 Current Affairs: The 11th Regional Quality Conclave (RQC) was held on 20th December 2019 at, Rudrapur, District Udham Singh Nagar, Uttarakhand. The Conclave will be inaugurated by Madan Kaushik, Minister of Urban Development Government of Uttarakhand. 

Organized by:
The RQC is organized by the Quality Council of India (QCI) along with PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI).

Theme:
The theme of the Rudrapur RQC is "Advance Manufacturing with Quality, Innovation & Technology Interventions." The Conclave aims to create awareness about the significance of quality culture in businesses.

Highlights:
♦ The conclave will deliberate on how organizations can continuously improve, innovate and share technological advancement like Industry 4.0 and predictive maintenance.
♦ It will include many sessions on Adding Value in Manufacturing and Supply Chain with Digital Transformation, Upskilling for Industry 4.0, Mapping Organization's Route to Quality.
♦ It includes discussion on leadership and engagement strategies for Sustaining Innovation and Quality Culture.
♦ Through the Conclave, the Quality Council of India aims to reach out to industries in the hilly regions of the country.

Participants:
More than 150 participants from the top organizations from the Uttarakhand region will be participating in the conclave. It is expected that Faggan Singh Kulaste, Minister of State, Ministry of Steel, Government of India will also participate in the event.
