Extensive experience in C/C++/Java Application development on Windows and Unix
Programming experience should encompass multiple areas like
Multi-threading
Network programming with TCP/IP
Programming with SSL/TLS
Experience with leveraging tools for better software quality:
Visual Studio
Coverity Static Analysis
Rational Purify
Crash dump / core dump analysis tools like WinDBG, AD Plus etc.
One of the Web Servers/container: IIS, iPlanet, IBM HTTP Server, Tomcat
One of the Database systems (as backend): MS SQL, Oracle, DB2
Technical presentation skills
Process orientation
Exposure to waterfall & agile development practices
Exposure to .NET and J2EE will be added plus
Right attitude towards work (self-learner, takes initiative, good team player)
